The project is a Retail Park for big box retailers, leisure and restaurant facilities. Retail Park Roermond will be constructed on the north-eastern side of the city of Roermond. When the project is finished it will be very well accessible by the new highway A73 which runs from Venlo in the north to Echt/Maastricht in the south.
Make
The building permit has been granted in September 2006. Construction will start September/October 2006. The delivery of the project to its tenants is planned approximately a year after start of construction. Opening is planned towards the end of the first quarter of 2008.
The making of
The architect of Retail Park Roermond is Nio Architecten from Rotterdam. The partners for
construction are Louis Schepers (part of the Wessels group) and Mourik-Groot Ammers for the
excavation works and infrastructure.

Partners
TCN Retail is fee-developer in this project and therefore responsible for value creation. TCN Development is responsible for the technical supervision. TCN’s client is Retail Park Roermond BV, a combination of Van Pol Participaties and Mourik-Groot Ammers. The municipality of Roermond has been very cooperative in the process. The required procedures were executed according to the desired planning.
