Schieoevers is the biggest industrial area of Delft and offers space to approximately 300 companies.
Because off the central location of the area between the TU-park, station Delft South and the city center, the excellent reachableness and the presence of water, this is a change to transform this area into a new, lively, mixed use part of the city Delft where spontaneously things could happen. The unsociable industrial area will step by step be transformed. The start is the making of a nursery of small creative companies in one of the industry halls. This nursery will increase and mature. During this process different parts of the existing buildings will make place for new properties.

Size
Schieoevers is a typical brown field, an industrial area which by time is outdated and is surrounded by the city. The area is approximately 111 hectare and reaches from the city boarder until the City centre. The part we focus on is called Blauw. Total land size 13 hectare. New building space estimated 180.000 sq mrs.
