A Data Hotel is a place that supplies Energy, Cooling and Connections to ICT equipment. In our Data Hotels users are able to house their IT equipment, connect with each other the internet and local and global fiber networks. Our Data Hotels provides a reliable and secure service to the user in accordance with the conditions defined in the co-location agreement.
Platform
Reliable: Cooling and power are the two main issues in the reliability in the datacenter. To ensure proper conditions with interferences, power failures and cooling problems, the Data Hotels arrange backup and redundancy in installation components.
Flexible: TCN Data Hotels are flexible in all conceivable elements, like power, cooling space, opening hours (24/7) and services. TCN can already equip you with space for one server, but also develop an 20.000 SQM custom made facility for you.
Affordable: Due to the right mix of real estate, installations and services TCN offers affordable high quality data centers. TCN is about 40% cheaper than our competitors and can give you the guarantee our price is the best. TCN’s price sheet is transparent and we offer guaranteed fixed prices for the term of the contract (only indexated according to CPI).
Projects
TCN has Data Hotels in Groningen (Data Hotel Groningen),Eemsdelta (Data Hotel Eemsdelta) and will open a new data hotel in Hilversum in 2011. With the rapidly growing demand for data center capacity they will become an increasingly attractive area of investment in the coming decades. We are now investigating developing Data Hotels in Rotterdam, Almere, Moscow and Spain.

To meet the growing demand TCN is expanding their Data Hotel capacity. Therefore the platform invites partners to join this expansion, share the knowledge and develop and manage together. Possible partners on this platform are technical, installation, equity and ICT partners. Partnerships are possible on project or on an overall level. Data Hotel Eemsdelta
TCN’s Data Hotel Eemsdelta is a single tenant Data Hotel that was built in 2007. Single-tenant means one customer occupies the entire facility, which is tailor-made to the standards of the customer, usually large (inter-) national companies. The location depends on customer requirements (i.e. power and connection), and the facility is scalable over time.
Data Hotel Eemshaven
Data Hotel Eemshaven was built in 2007 as a next generation Data Hotel. As our largest customer in Groningen had a demand for extra space and power we built this facility according their specifications. The building is designed on one level to keep it simple and useful.
Data Hotel Groningen
Since 2001 TCN has been owner of Data Hotel Groningen and as of 2004 we are also responsible for the complete operation. Since then the 10,000 SQM data hotel was fully leased to multiple users varying in size from 1 suite to 13 suites. In 2010 we have upgraded the electrical and cooling system to the highest standards in the market. As a part of our mission is to be market leader in creative and innovative sollutions we have installed a white roof to decrease indoor temperature, caused by outdoor heat.
Data Hotel Hilversum (Mediapark)
Data Hotel Hilversum will be developed as a multi tenant Data Hotel in the heart of Holland’s media world. This Data Hotel combines the advantage of a central location and the connectivity available at the Hilversum Media Park. Based on your requirements TCN can provide a solution on wholesale level, ranging from a number of racks to a 500 sqm suite, in a very short timeframe. In the summer of 2011 the phase one will be delivered to the first client.
Data Hotel Spaanse Kubus
The ‘Spaanse Kubus’ building is Rotterdam’s largest and primary data center. Our tenants here already offer colocations possiblities. TCN is currently investigating the possibilities of creating their own Data Hotel in the ‘Spaanse Kubus’ building. Since 2001, TCN has created a number of reliable data centers that meet the highest market standards. We consider Rotterdam to be an important growth area for the coming five years.
